This mug has a very small nick on the rim, which is covered in glaze & is not sharp, but is noticable. This does not impact the use of the piece - it remains food-safe. These mugs are 14-16oz approx. This piece is microwave & dishwasher safe & is 100% handmade. Each piece is thrown on the pottery wheel, dried & fired once. Then it is designed, waxed, glazed & fired again!
